1 cup cranberries 1 medium pear,cored and cut into bite size pieces 1 medium cooking apple, cored and cut into bite size pieces 3 plums,halved, pitted and cut into thin slices 3 cups cranberry apple juice 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 tablespoon lemon juice 2 3 inch long pieces of cinnamon stick In a large saucepan,combine cranberries,pear, apple and plum.Stir in juice,brown sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon. Bring to a rolling boil and reduce heat. Simmer for 5 minutes-until fruit is tender. Discard cinnamon sticks and serve |
