FREE FESTIVAL TICKETS FRIDAY; LAST CHANCE TO WIN CAR IS SATURDAY
DAYTON, Ohio - Where did summer go? It seemed to disappear faster than a “Race Red” Ford Focus, zipping down a Darke Co. highway! Labor Day weekend is not just the unofficial end of summer, it’s the official end of the “iFocus on Saving Lives” summer campaign to win the “Race Red” 2012 Ford Focus.
Donors (18 and older) had from May 29 through Saturday, Sept. 1 to register to donate and be automatically entered in the drawing for the new Ford Focus, purchased from Dave Knapp Ford Lincoln in Greenville. Dave Knapp helped kick-off the campaign by hosting a blood drive at his Greenville dealership on May 30, and is book-ending the campaign with a closing blood drive on Saturday, Sept. 1.
Now the fun begins. The computer will randomly select the names of 10 finalists, plus an alternate list. CBC Donor Relations will begin contacting each finalist and confirming their participation. All will be invited to the winner announcement event scheduled Thursday, Sept. 20 at CBC. All finalists will receive an envelope, but only one will contain the golden ticket signifying the winner.
It’s always an exciting “Youtube” moment when they simultaneously tear open the envelopes and discover who will be driving away with a brand new vehicle.

Donors must use their new Donor ID number to schedule appointments on www.DonorTime.com.
Technology is making it faster and more convenient than ever to schedule your next blood donation. Just use your computer or smart phone to make an appointment online at www.DonorTime.com. You can also schedule your next appointment using your mobile device to scan the DonorTime QR code.
Blood donation requirements: Donors are required to provide a photo ID that includes their full name. Past CBC donors are also asked to bring their CBC donor ID card. Donors must be at least 16 years of age (16 years old with parental consent: form available at www.givingblood.org or at CBC branch & blood drive locations), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good physical health.
